Steel Cam Followers – Precision Cam Follower Bearings

Here at Bolton Engineering Products Ltd we provide top class steel cam followers designed to deliver precise motion control in demanding industrial applications. Our cam follower-bearing units can support high radial loads while damping linear or rotational motion.

If you are searching for durable cam followers for machinery, automation systems, or track-guided applications, BEP Ltd offers dependable UK supply with fast dispatch.

What Are Cam Followers?

Cam followers are specialised bearings designed to follow a cam lobe or track. Unlike standard bearings, they feature a thick outer ring to withstand shock loads and provide stable, accurate movement in guided systems.

They are commonly used in automation, conveyors, and mechanical assemblies where consistent motion tracking is required.

  • Suitable for higher load applications
  • Increased rigidity for heavy-duty systems

Sealed Cam Followers

  • Protected against dust and contaminants
  • Reduced maintenance requirements

Key Features of Steel Cam Followers

  • High-strength steel construction
  • Thick outer ring for heavy radial loads
  • Smooth rolling contact for reduced friction
  • Available in sealed and shielded designs
  • Designed for high-speed and continuous-duty use
