An Overview of Angular Contact Bearings

Angle contact ball bearings are robust enough to withstand strong radial and axial loads as well as operate at high speeds due to the internal architecture of the bearing. As a result of their production, they are asymmetrical and are only capable of withstanding unidirectional axial forces. Angular bearings are often installed in a group of two or more opposed preloaded components separated by hard or elastic spacers.
