NU Cylindrical Roller Bearings

Overview of NU Cylindrical Roller Bearings

Bolton Engineering Products provide a broad selection of NU cylindrical roller bearings in a variety of shapes and sizes to accommodate a broad array of applications. The outer rings of these NU design bearings contain two integral flanges; however, the inner rings do not have any flanges. The fact that they are capable of accommodating axial displacement on the shaft in both directions means that they are well suited for setups in which they are employed as the floating side bearing, while NU cylindrical rollers are only capable of carrying radial loads. As a result, they are particularly well suited for use in gearbox and transmission applications.

These cylindrical roller bearings have been around for a long time and are intended to carry significant radial loads due to the linear contact of the rollers and raceway. Their structure allows for precision machining. Easy to install and remove, NU cylindrical roller bearings adapt to the shaft's axial movement relative to the housing.
