What are Bolton Engineerings opening times

  • Our office hours are weekdays from 8.30am to 5.00pm, however you may email at any time and we shall respond at the earliest opportunity.

Do you have a trade counter?

  • Yes we do. If you have seen something online which you wish to come down and collect please call us on 01204 370453 before you do this to ensure we have the item here and it is not  a wasted journey for yourself.

What Bearings brands do you supply?

  • All the quality brand bearings we supply will be one of the following leading manufactures: SKF, FAG, RHP, NSK, INA, SNR, NTN, KOYO, IKO, WM1, FYH, FS, Medway, Challenge, MSB or NKE. (If you prefer a specific brand on your order please use the option provided in your basket).

What is the latest order time for a Next Day delivery service

  • We can accept orders before 3pm for next day delivery. I would advise to call ourselves on 01204 370453 to ensure this can happen.

What are your postage and shipping charges

Can you ship outside of the United Kingdom

  • Yes you can please download and fill in our form and email/ send it back to us.

Which payment methods are accepted

  • We accept paypal, bank transfer and most card payments.

Do I have to pay any taxes

  • If you are a resident of the United Kingdom you would be required to pay VAT on goods and any freight charges unless you have a valid VAT number which can be entered at the checkout stage when making an order.
  • Any purchases from outside the UK are exempt of VAT but any goods will be supplied on a DDU (Delivered, Duty Unpaid) basis, the customer will be responsible for any applicable duty.

      Minimum order value?

      • Minimum store order value for orders placed over the phone, onlne or on the trade counter is £5.00 nett

      When will you ship my item?

      • We aim to ship all UK orders within 2-3 working days of order. However if this is not possible due to reasons beyond our control we will aim to dispatch as quickly as possible.

      Couriers we use?

      • Couriers we use are Royal Mail Tracked 48, Parcelforce, Fedex, Evri, TNT, DPD, UPS & UK Mail.
      • Courier 3+ Day International service is sent using Fedex Economy

      You have cancelled my order?

      • From time to time there may be occasions when I will have to cancel order due to fulfillment issues. This is primarily down to not being able to source the item you have ordered.

      My item has not arrived yet?

      • All items are sent via courier or second/ first class post unless they are going outside the UK. If you have not received your packet please contact your local postal sorting office as your item may be there. All items are shipped within one/ two business day of ordering I can not control the item once it has left me if it has been sent via the post as there is no tracking for the packet but if the item is undelivered it should come back to me as their is a frank with our returns address on it. Royal Mail says that you should wait up to 15 BUSINESS days before making a claim for a missing packet. For international delivery please allow up to 28 days before contacting me. This is the time stated by the Royal Mail before being able to make a claim for a missing packet & that the packet should of been delivered in that given time.

      International Standard Mail

      • International standard mail is sent at the buyers own risk of which this is not tracked and uninsured 

      Will I pay Import Duty

      • All items shipped outside of the UK are sent DDU. Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) is an international trade term meaning the seller is responsible for ensuring goods arrive safely to a destination; the buyer is responsible for import duties.

      Returns Policy

      • You may return an unused item in original condition, unless faulty, within 30 days of receipt. Damaged or used goods cannot be refunded.
      • Good bought in at buyers request are non refundable/ non returnable
      • A completed copy of our returns form must be included with the returned goods and include our returns number which can be obtained by email:
      • Customers will be responsible for the original and return shipping charges unless our customer service department determines that we are at fault for an order error or product defect. Bolton Engineering will not be responsible for any return item lost in transit.
      • Once we receive the package and the goods are checked, we will refund you by the payment method used when the order was placed.
      • If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
      • Please allow 5-7 working days for your return to be processed or exchange to be sent.
      • Goods may incur a 75% handling/restocking charge.

      We do not accept returns for the following items
