More About The Needle Roller Thrust Bearings

The needle roller thrust bearings that you get here at Bolton Engineering Products Ltd are equipped with a form-stable cage that ensures that a significant number of needle rollers can be reliably retained and steered. Bearings with needle roller thrusts have a high degree of stiffness while taking up only a small amount of axial space. Compared to a standard thrust washer, needle roller thrust bearings require no additional space in applications where the faces of adjacent machine components can be used as raceways.

Characteristics and advantages

  •         Heavy axial loads and peak loads can be accommodated

Axial and peak loads are accommodated by these bearings because of the relatively tiny diameter variance between the rollers within one assembly.

  •         The service life of a bearing is extended

In order to avoid stress surges, the roller ends have been gently eased in order to alter the line contact between the raceway and the rollers.
