Tapered Roller Bearings

Know More about the Tapered Roller Bearings

These bearings use conical rollers guided by a back-face rib on the cone of the bearing. These bearings have the power of withstanding large radial loads and axial loads in a single direction.

The rollers in this series of bearings have been expanded in size and quantity, allowing them to carry an even greater load capacity. It is common for them to be installed in pairs in a manner similar to that of single-row angular contact ball bearings. Adjusting the axial distance between the cones or cups of the two opposed bearings will provide the required internal clearance in this case. It is possible to mount the cone assemblies and cups separately because they are detachable.
