Order Minimums

A minimum order value applies for orders placed:

• Over the phone

• At our trade counter

• Online

Order Processing & Dispatch

• Orders are processed Monday to Friday

• We aim to dispatch all orders as quickly as possible, typically within 5 business days

• Some items are stocked at our Bolton branch, while others are sourced from our network of suppliers

• If delays occur beyond our control, we will inform you and dispatch the item as soon as possible

Shipping Origin

All orders are shipped from the United Kingdom (U.K.)

Shipping Terms (Incoterms)

We ship under DAP (Delivered at Place) terms:

• We are responsible for delivering the goods to the destination

• The buyer is responsible for all import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and any other charges incurred upon arrival

• Please Note: Orders shipped outside the UK may be subject to local duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the buyer. Bolton Engineering ships under DAP (Delivered at Place) Incoterms. If duties and taxes are not paid, the parcel may be returned or destroyed at the buyer's expense.

Duties & Taxes

• Duties and taxes are not included in your order total or shipping fees at checkout

• The buyer is fully responsible for any import-related charges

• Refusal to pay duties/taxes may result in the shipment being returned (at the buyer's cost) or destroyed

• Refunds will not be issued in such cases

Shipping Confirmation & Tracking

• A shipping confirmation email with tracking details (if available) will be sent once your order is dispatched

Missing Deliveries

UK Orders:

• All UK orders are sent via tracked courier or Royal Mail 24

• If your item hasn’t arrived, please check with your local delivery office to see if it’s being held

• All orders are dispatched within 5 business days of purchase

Untracked UK Deliveries:

• Royal Mail requires a 15-business-day waiting period before a missing item claim can be initiated

International Orders:

• Please allow up to 28 days before contacting us regarding missing deliveries

• This timeframe is required by Royal Mail to initiate an international missing item claim
