 What is a bearing?

Cylindrical roller bearings and needle bearings with cages can run at higher speeds than bearings without one. However, occasionally the faster speed is chosen at the risk of the load. You must also consider the possibility of misalignment; some bearings, such as double row ball bearings, are not suited for this application.
