Step 3: A key is unnecessary for normal drives. But hammer against the large end of the bush using a block or sleeve to prevent damage if a key is not being used. This ensures the square seating of the bush in the bore. Using the key, the screws will turn more. Repeat the process of alternating hammering and screw tightening until the proper torque is obtained.

Step 4: Position the key in the shaft keyway before fitting the bush.

Step 5:Stop and check the tightness of the screws after the drive has been running under load for a short period of time. Fill the empty holes with grease to remove dirt.
